Abstract

The current research aims to develop social communication of children with simple hearing impairment. The research depends on the experimental approach of semi- experimental design of two group was used in the research. The research sample consisted of (40) children with Simple hearing impairment. Their ages ranged from (5- 6) years old. Measurement tool for A measure of the concept of photographic social communication for children with simple hearing impairment, and Educational material through Artistic Expression programme to develop children with Simple Hearing Impairment The Social communication.

The results of the research indicated that:        

There are differences with a statistical significance the average of degrees of both the experimental and controlled groups on photographic social communication scale for the simple hearing- impaired children concerning visual communication skills in post- measurements, These difference are to the advantage of the experimental group.

There are differences with a statistical significance the average of degrees of both the experimental and controlled groups on photographic social communication scale for the simple hearing- impaired children concerning auditory communication skills in post- measurements, These difference are to the advantage of the experimental group.

There are differences with a statistical significance the average of degrees of both the experimental and controlled groups on photographic social communication scale for the simple hearing- impaired children concerning linguistic communication skills in post- measurements, These difference are to the advantage of the experimental group.

The research recommends the importance of implementing a program based on Artistic Expression on more children with simple hearing impairment than research sample because it has great effect in developing Social Communication
